A simple wood box can be filled with pinecones, or pumpkins. Use mason jars or tin cans to add a floral touch, or even to hold utensils. Here’s how to make a decorative box.

Add stemmed cotton to a galvanized water can – this is a new one, but an old rusty one works great too. Plus, who doesn’t like a little rust? Add dried cattails and wheat to a gallon jug. These are also great for the stemmed cotton.
